Our Technology

The technology works in any biological entity essentially by illustrating a very early occurring level of cellular architecture, the cell wall membrane, in the hierarchy of physiology. This level occurs prior to those seen using lab studies, imaging techniques and physical signs; so we are able to provide better information sooner. As it turns out the ability of a cell to hold an electrical signal is proportional to its health and vitality so without any mathematical manipulation we are able to see prognosis; the presence/severity of disease, the effectiveness of treatment, the cumulative burden of illness and the timing of non-acute death. In foods we are able to determine freshness, palatability (tenderness-juiciness-flavorfulness) and if the foodstuff has been previously frozen.

The study is non-invasive/destructive, provides immediate results and is economically applied. Both our products PrognostiCheck(R) and EFresh(R) are based on this technology.

Phase Angle is a Prognostic Factor

Phase angle determined by PrognostiCheck(R) detects changes in tissue electrical properties and is a reliable and objective prognostic indicator in several chronic conditions—such as HIV, liver cirrhosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, breast cancer, colorectal cancer, pancreatic cancer and lung cancer—and in patients receiving dialysis.

Severity of Disease

Some of the most common and important questions for the individual patient and their family is
– “When is he/she going to feel better?”
– “How effective is the treatment?”
– “The severity of disease?”

Prognosis assesses the course, presence and severity of disease, the effectiveness of treatments and the timing of non-acute death. Prognosis provides answers to support the decisions that physicians, patients and families must make. Through understanding and seeing a disease process in practical objective terms; better decisions can be made.

Information about prognosis is often based upon statistical analysis of a disease condition, lab studies and the experience of
